Restorer of the faith

24.09.09 by Zeitgeist

Ever since the age of 5 when I first got my grubby mitts on a much sought after Paul Daniels magic set, I wanted to be a magician.

Then something happened to magic. It became all Las Vegas and glitter spewing and filled with Seigfrieds and Roys, not to mention Roy's massive cod piece. What's a cod piece got to do with magic anyway?

Nevertheless, I've thankfully had my faith in magic restored by none other than a dragon called Piff. Described as 'Jack Dee in a dragon suit' I stumbled across Piff during the Edinburgh Festival and have been hooked ever since.

It's deadpan, 'doesn't give a shit' conjuring that blows all the white tigers in Vegas out the water.

Piff, I raise a glass of Zeitgeist to you.
