Oh why hast thy god of delivery failed me!!!
20.07.09 by Lombear
After the excitement of Warren Ellis telling me about 70% off beer, imagine the excitement as I awaited the delivery of beer from the sheep people. Imagine the roller coaster of joy when my better (but delivery checking fail) half told me the boxes had arrived -only for her to then tell me a bottle was broken - woe is me!
I arrive home bracing myself for the worst and I walk in the door to the smell of stale wasted lager. The trauma was almost too much to take - I peered into the conjoined boxes, one of which was soggy with the taint of despair. Inside was an image that shall haunt my remaining days - A casualty amonst the survivors, a tangled mess of packaging, glass and beer. A dead sheepy beer. I gulped back the bile and nausea and commenced the cleanup - salvaging the the intact from the shattered - removing them from a scene of hell to the safety of the beer fridge. Barce yourselves the next picture aint pretty....

Hi Lombear,
firstly I am realy sorry about this. We pride ourselves on providing the best customer service and what you recieved is not up to standard.
We have had some issues with Parcelforce recently. Despite switching our packaging to a case which I can throw 25 feet into the air and the bottles don' break they still break the occasional bottle. I would love to know how Parcelforce manage to do this, besides playing a full game of rugby with the parcel I am not sure how they manage!
We are once again looking at changing the type of packaging we use and switching courier to ensure breakages are kept to a minimum. With any bottles being sent by courier there is always a slight risk of breakages at some point in the chain due to excessively bad handling. We are doing all we can to eliminate this.
I hope you enjoy your beers which arrived in one piece.
Drop me an email at james@brewdog.com and I will get a t-shirt and some replacement beer sent out.
Rest assured we are doing all we can to change packaging and courier to ensure all packages arrive as we sent them!

i think it was the end to end packing that maybe caused it.
although my postie asked me if there was glass in it, despite the big 'caution glass' warnings!
haha :)

My order arrived in perfect condition and quickly.
Guess its just the luck of which courier you get.
