So, I was driving home after one too many 12 hour shifts and, to my suprise and amusemement, just before the turn off to Tesco I spotted a BrewDog delivery van! I nearly beeped the horn, but decided they would think I was mad, so didn't bother.

What I did do though, was stop off at Tesco and buy absolutely no BrewDog beer. "What" you say? Why tell us about this?

Well, I went in with the intention of buying some BrewDog beer, but it had been so popular that there was none left :-(

Fortunately Zeitgeist came to the rescue!

So, after a Black Sheep to warm up, then a Greene King Hop (a new one to me, and one I'm not too excited about) I finally opened one of the few remaining Zeitgeists in the box. What a treat!

I'm so glad I stumbled across this fine lager, with all its complexity, aroma and sharpness, I just hope it finds a big enugh market to keep it viable!
